Jody Williams, PhD (ABD)

Jody Williams is a Ph.D. Candidate in Social Work with emphasis on Monitoring and Evaluation at the University of South Africa. He earned B.A. in Sociology and M.A. in Social Work degrees from the University of Ghana. In 2018, he also earned a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation for Results from IMA International, London.

Jody served as a senior development consultant with 15 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, specializing in project monitoring and evaluation systems, result framework, M&E plans, processes and procedures and training in M&E. He is a Senior Consultant with 15 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, specializing in project monitoring and evaluation systems, data collection tools design (both PAPI and CAPI), data collection processes and procedures and training, field supervision of enumerators and supervisors, and report writing. Jody has been adopting innovative CAPI data collection applications in all the data collection services since 2012. Specifically, Jody has been using ODK Collect, SurveyCTO, Collect, CS-Pro, and POIMapper software for data collection. He has vast experience in designing and deploying CAPI for data collection in Ghana.

Jody has been the lead consultant at JMK in most baseline, mid-term and evaluation assignments conducted for several organizations in Ghana. For example, Jody served as the Project Director in the enumeration of over 92,000 households in the Savannah Region for the Ghana Household Registry in 2020. He was the team lead for the CARE International projects conducted in the five northern regions.
